Now you can professionally display your art images on Facebook.
It only takes a few minutes to launch your My ArtNotStuff application on Facebook and all of the images currently displayed on your ItsArtNotStuff profile page will be displayed on Facebook through our site's dynamic 3-D Gallery. You can view a short video on our website:
www.itsartnotstuff.com/ansSocialApps.aspx
That's right! The same dynamic Gallery that hosts featured art on the ItsArtNotStuff home page will host your artwork on Facebook.
Just think you can create your own personal art show on Facebook -- invite all of your Facebook friends to view your images.
Again, it's easy to launch. In fact, you can launch it right from Facebook. However, we suggest that you visit ItsArtNotStuff to review the images you have uploaded to ensure you want to include those specific images in your personal 3-D My ArtNotStuff Facebook application.
And, by the way, ItsArtNotStuff would luv to be your friend on Facebook. See you there!
LUV ART!!

Insert/Edit Image - To insert an image, place the cursor in the desired location and press this button. A pop-up dialog displays that lets you enter in the Image URL and other information about how the image will display.
You will then need to specify the URL of the image. To find out the URL and to use it to specify your image, use the instructions below. Find the image you want to put into your document Right click on it and select "Properties" or look for "Location of Image" something to that effect You will see a "location" property displayed, eg something like http://itsartnotstuff.com/media/4/artWork/23_photo.jpg Drag the mouse over this property to select it Click control-c to copy it Now go into the page you are editing and position the cursor where you want the image to be (I suggest you actually have preselected the location and positioned your cursor there from the outset) Click the "image" button Past the URL you just copied into the "image URL" box - ie click in the box then press control-v. Now enter a description and a title for the images - this is important if you want your page to be friendly towards users of text readers and other assistance-type software Click "insert" to place your image into your document
If the image is on your PC and you need first of all to upload the image file to the website.
Note that when you click the "image" button there is also a tab which lets you control the "Appearance" of the image. The alignment property is quite useful it you want the words to "wrap around" the image. You can also control the size of your image (but see the note below).
Your site probably limits how big an uploaded file can be. If you encounter problems with this, you will need to resize your image before you upload it.
It is important that images are correctly sized for our website. You may click on the "Constrain Proportions" checkbox and adjust either the width or the height, with the other dimension adjusting accordingly to maintain the same screen proportions. Or, leave "Constrain Proportions" unchecked and adjust the width and/or the height independently, stretching the image horizontally or vertically.
DahDahhhh
Just wanted to let the community know that we're redesigning the home page as you can see. Hope you like the new features.
Working out a few bugs over the next couple of hours. We do have a report that some are having problems viewing the site in the Internet Explorer Browser which we will be working soon. If you have access to Mozilla Firefox please use it to fully access the site.
Thanks for your patience.
hi Luv,
I still cannot find my blog? I was going to start it today. Meant to sooner but ended up offline for a couple of weeks. (changed services). So anyway. I've been trying to catch up on my "posting" to all my sites today, and darn it..cannot complete..sigh. Help! I might have missed it somewhere..but don't see it I don't think :) Sorry to bug you..just trying to catch myself up after being off for awhile. (I never knew I could get so far behind in two weeks of not being online...sigh.
Dragonesque :)
Always glad for the feedback.
Both membership subscriptions are Free. During initial programming, we just distinguised the mini subscription (so to speak) by limiting the number of image upload, blogging and a few other features. It might be something that we will look at in the future if enough interest is expressed.
As always, Luv Art!
:}
Glad I could help, and at the risk of sounding bossy..grinz
How about instead of paying for a blog you add things like can post links in blog or whatever? Blogs are sorta free everywhere, and that would be a nice "advantage" to compare...
